BETTE S. MARGOLIS, M.A., EXECUTIVE PRODUCER & SCREENWRITER, co-owner,Phoenix Shakti Productions. Was writer/producer for Women In The Arts, an interview cable program for Bay Cable Vision, San Francisco East Bay Area. Wrote, illustrated or helped to publish dozens of children’s books, and taught writing and illustration to adult students at a number of colleges and universities. Wrote and published three books: A Heart Full of Love,ALIVE and WELL: Into the New Millennium With Edgar Cayce’s Health Care Wisdom, Volumes I and II. Held degrees in English/journalism and art. Was lead producer for A Heart Full of Love when she died unexpectedly on February 17, 2008.
GEORGE SCHWIMMER, PH.D., EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, co-owner, Phoenix Shakti Pro-ductions. Was a theatre director and producer for thirty years, taught theatre and directed at two colleges and a university, helped to start three theatres and a college theatre department, directed forty plays, served as VP of Development for a TV film company. Published three books: The Search For David, DAVID: leaves from the journal of a soul, andAdventures In Consciousness: Accessing Inner Realities, as well as writing screen plays and occasionally acting. ASA SHUMSKAS-TAIT, PRODUCER/DIRECTOR. Is a writer and director. His first comic book, Consumed, from Platinum Studios, will be released in trade paperback in 2009, and his animation work can be seen at the Real Deal show at the Venetian in Las Vegas. ALICE NICHOLAS WOOD, COMPOSER. Studied at N. C. School of the Arts, then U.S.C., classical music composition and film scoring. Worked for music editor Nick South on Rolfe Kent scores like Legally Blonde, Mean Girls and Wedding Crashers. Was music editor on a number of films, has scored numerous feature films, short films, and commercials, recently completed her score for the feature film American Primitive.
